How does smart charging work during a scheduled SmartFlex event?

Modified on Tue, 4 Feb at 3:02 PM

For users on off-peak or flat tariffs, smart charging typically takes place during the night when energy costs are lower. Since SmartFlex events are usually scheduled during peak hours, they do not interfere with smart charging, ensuring your vehicle will always be charged on time as planned.

For users on agile tariffs, if charging is scheduled during an ongoing SmartFlex event, the charging will be paused for the duration of the event, which typically lasts around 2 hours. Once the SmartFlex event ends, charging will automatically resume, ensuring your vehicle continues charging as soon as possible. In all cases, the system is designed to ensure your vehicle is charged when you need it.
