What is the Charger Restriction option, and how does it work?

Modified on Wed, 7 Aug at 10:07 AM

The Charger Restriction option allows you to temporarily disable restrictive hours on the charger. If you're installing chargers during peak hours (8-11 am and 4-10 pm), you can disable these hours to conduct tests efficiently. It's important to note that disabling restricted hours will make the charger non-compliant with smart regulations until you re-enable them. Ensure to inform the charger owner of this change.

To restore smart regulation compliance, reconfigure the charger using Installer Miles and enable Charger regulations during commissioning. Alternatively, the owner can choose to re-enable Restricted charger hours when connecting the charger to the Electric Miles app.
